Raw, but anything but ordinary
Our raw panels – like all epicPLY panels – consist of a lightweight, multi-layered core of Albasia wood. The surface is untreated, thus offering maximum flexibility for further processing: painting, oiling, varnishing, covering, or coating – everything is possible.

Our epicPLY plywood consists of 11 core layers (at 15 mm thickness) and is up to 50% lighter than conventional plywood. The perfect solution for anyone who wants to save weight in lightweight construction without sacrificing stability – e.g., in campervans, furniture making, or on boats.
Why is the record so light?
The secret lies within: The core layers are made of Albasia wood – a particularly light and fast-growing wood from Indonesia. Thanks to its cellular structure and low density, it allows for extremely lightweight panels while maintaining high load-bearing capacity.
Sustainability is standard
Our Albasia panels come from responsibly managed plantations located on reforested land in Indonesia. For every tree felled, six new ones are planted – in partnership with Fairventures Worldwide. Our panels have a carbon-neutral footprint.
